MEETINGSParents are asked to attend the Mandatory Parent Meetings which are scheduled before each school year begins. At these meetings, we will go over details for that session so it is important to be in attendance.
CLASSROOM PARTICIPATIONEvery parent is asked to participate in teaching one class as well as assisting in one class. On the last day of Co-op, we host a program at 11 AM for family and friends with a Taco Bar afterwards! We encourage you to have the class you are teaching prepare a song, presentation and/or a display to present at the program.
STUDENT MANAGEMENTAs a co-op, we ask all parents to help manage crowd control during large group gatherings, remind students of appropriate behavior and encourage students to be involved in all aspects of Co-op. With this in mind, we ask that everyone, students and adults, treat each other with respect using the Fruits of the Spirit as our guide. (See Kids Code of Conduct under “about” tab)
FACILITY MAINTENANCEWe strive to leave the facility as good or even better than we find it on Fridays. At the end of the morning, each classroom needs to be vacuumed, tables wiped down and toys put away. Each week after lunch families are asked to help clean-up in the gymnasium.
COMMUNICATIONWe know that life happens and seasons bring illness and change. Please let coordinators know when you/your family will not be present on a Friday. Also, please let your assistant know when you will not be present to teach so you can make arrangements with them to teach your lesson that day. Keep an eye on facebook and email for updates, announcements and upcoming events.
